KIMONO-LOVERS - Up and Running Again!

Wed Oct 22, 2008, 8:23 PM
Hey everyone! The Kimono-Lovers club is back up and running again! I apologize for taking so long to get things going again. My work contract during the summer got extended and it's taken me a while to get settled back in at home.

Well, I've added all the new members and I'll begin posting submissions right away.

--------------Mission Statement---------------

Welcome to all you kimono lovers out there!

This club is a place where people who enjoy designing and making kimono, kimono related items, and kimono related art work can share their creations. So, if you love kimono, drop us a note and join!

---------------Joining-----------------

To become a member of this club, please follow these instructions:

1: Create a note with the subject heading "JOIN" and send it to the KIMONO-LOVERS, stating your interest as a participant.

2: Upon receiving confirmation of your application, add the KIMONO-LOVERS to your watch list.

3 (Optional): Add the KIMONO-LOVERS icon to your organization list via ":icon KIMONO-LOVERS:" without the space.

-----------------Submissions-----------------

To submit deviations to the KIMONO-LOVERS, please follow these instructions:

1: Upload the deviation to your personal gallery. If it is an image it must be uploaded as a JPEG. Only JPEG images will be accepted.

2: Create a note with the subject heading "Submission" and send it to the KIMONO-LOVERS. It must contain a link to your devation. Include any other extra information about the deviation you wish to display. Also include whether you are submitting a deviation or a scrap.

Notes:
:star:I would like to encourage authentically styled kimono, however if your intention is to create something inspired by kimono, it will be accepted as well.

:star:Anything submitted to the club MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK!

:star:Also, when your deviations are uploaded to the club, a link will be placed in the artist's comments section to your copy of the deviation. This will allow others to comment and fav your original work, rather than the copy here.

Welcome back,i have a question about:
Anything submitted to the club MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK!
How does that work for colored linearts?

--
I colour most Line Art,if you have something you would like to see colored then please check out my Journal for more information!
:iconkimono-lovers:
Well, I would accept the submissions so long as you have the permission of the artist who did the lineart. A simple "posted with permission" statement will do, I suppose. Do you have some examples of the work you'd like to submit?
