Woo hoo! I got all dressed up in my purdy taisho furisode the other day! Eventhough it is a hikizuri furisode, I'm sure you can see it's not really long enough for me to wear trailing. Still, I decided to put it on without the ohashiori, sort of to reflect the rather loose style of kitsuke worn at the time. That's one of my momiji kanzashi that I'm wearing too.

I'm kind of upset that almost all the photos I really liked didn't turn out. My shutter speed had to be set too slow so things were either blurry or under exposed and I wasn't able to save them in photoshop... See, I actually even made a really nice orange and gold han'eri, but I don't have any pics of it because none of the ones that really showed it turned out. -_-;
