  Original Title: Kimono Cake-contest entry DO NOT FAV HERE! The original piece is available for commenting and faving here: [link] This is a cake that I made and designed after my given Geimyo "Moonlit Night" for the Kimono-Lover's Geimyo contest. It is covered in fondant and decorated with gumpaste flowers, royal icing, silver dust, and a blown sugar globe on top. The sugar globe on this cake represents the moon while the cake is covered to represent the Kimono come to life. The gumpaste flowers are white cherry blossoms and magnolia flowers. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
