The aim of this group is to encourage ORIGINAL works featuring authentically styled kimono, and kimono inspired works.
All works must incorporate kimono, or kimono accessories.
We will not accept deviations that contain: Pornography, gore, excessive violence, hateful themes, and any type of discrimination.

In addition to original works, we also accept photos of the following:
1-Kimono collection.
You must clearly indicate that they kimono/kimono items in the photo are used/antique/vintage in the artist comments.

2-Kitsuke
Photos of you wearing kimono that you DID NOT make yourself. You must clearly indicate whether the kimono you are wearing is used/antique/vintage, or you made it yourself. Cosplay submissions are also accepted, but the cosplay must incorporate kimono.

Deviations are sorted into the following catergories:

Kimono Collections - Photos of antique or vintage kimono on display, not being worn by a person.

Kitsuke and Cosplay Photos - Photos of people wearing kimono. This includes cosplay, and kimono inspired clothing.

Kimono Drawings - Drawings, paintings, any artwork that is not considered a craft.

Kimono Crafts - This folder is for images of kimono related crafts. These could include kimono and kitsuke accesories(excluding kanzashi) you have made yourself, doll clothes, origami and paper crafts etc.

Kanzashi - Photos of kanzashi you have made yourself. Kanzashi get their own folder due to the large amount of kanzashi submissions to the group.

Real Maiko, Geiko, Oiran, Tayuu etc. - This folder is for photos of traditional Japanese cultural figures who wear kimono, such as geisha, maiko. Kitsuke, cosplay and henshin photos do not go in this folder, they go in the kitsuke folder.

Tutorials and Resources - Any tutorials and resources related to kimono, kitsuke, kimono crafts etc. Members must be freely allowed to use any tutorials and resources posted.

Others - Anything that does not fit into the above categories.
